How do I request a name change after registering for a CLEP exam?
If you need to change or update your name after you’ve registered for a CLEP exam, you need to submit a Name Change Request form (.pdf/356 KB).
If the name change is significant (for example, more than just a mistyped letter or changing a nickname to the full name), you’ll also need to submit a valid photograph with your name and at least one form of identification such as a government-issued ID, school ID, or birth certificate. Processing name change requests can take 2–3 business days.
I have a child under the age of 13. How do I register them for a CLEP Exam?
College Board doesn't knowingly collect personally identifiable information online from children under 13. College Board obtains parent/guardian consent before establishing an online account for a child under age 13.
If your child is under the age of 13, download, complete, and sign the following College Board Account Creation Consent form, emailing the form to [email protected]. Once the form is submitted, a College Board representative will contact you with next steps for creating the student account.
