Search Colleges' CLEP Policies

Instructions

  1. Search for your college by name or location.

You can learn about your college's CLEP credit policies and guidelines by entering its name in the search field. You can also search by location to view a list of colleges in a specific area.

  2. View search results.

If you searched by college name and your college has a CLEP policy posted on the College Board's website, you should see the name, address, and phone number of your college appear in the results, followed by a table listing the exams it gives credit for, the scores it requires, and the credit hours awarded for that score.

If you searched by location, click Search to see a list of colleges in that area. Then, click See school's CLEP policy to find out your preferred college's CLEP score and credit policies.

  3. Check your college’s website.

Be sure to check your institution's website for the most up-to-date CLEP credit policy information. Institutions may not have the latest policies posted on the CLEP website.
