Register for an Exam

CLEP exams are administered year-round on a flexible schedule. Follow these steps to register and pay for an exam, find a test center that meets your needs, request accommodations, and more.

Select your CLEP exam to begin registration.

Keep in Mind

Registering for an exam and scheduling your test with a test center are separate steps.

Register for an exam, pay the exam fee, and print your ticket on the College Board website. Test centers operate independently and you contact a test center directly to schedule an exam.

If you are in the military, your exam may be paid for by your military benefits.

Be sure to review the page Military: How to Register Under DANTES to determine your eligibility and find out how to register with the exam funded by DANTES.
