How does registration work for DANTES-funded military service members?

Military service members, like civilian test takers, will register for their CLEP exams through My Account. They will create a unique username and password.

After they create their account, they will continue to answer all generic questions, such as name, address, email address, etc. When they come to the question to indicate they are DANTES-funded, they will answer, "Yes," and select a DANTES category and answer any related background questions. With this selection and upon checkout, the registration ticket will show $0.00 for the exam fee if the registration is for a first attempt at an exam title.

At check-in on test day, service members will still be required to present their military ID as their government-issued photo ID and will be required to present their registration ticket to the test center administrator.
