Am I eligible to test with remote proctoring?
To take a CLEP exam with remote proctoring, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be 13 years old or older, except for Illinois residents who must be 18 years or older.
- Legally reside in the U.S. (excludes U.S. territories) or be DANTES-funded.
- Your computer and testing room must meet equipment and environment requirements as well as Proctortrack technical requirements for remote proctoring.
- You must have a smartphone with a working camera that meets all smartphone requirements.
If you aren't eligible for remote proctoring, you can still take a CLEP exam at a CLEP test center. Use the CLEP test center search tool to find one near you.
