ACCUPLACER and CLEP Regional Conferences: Introducing New Vision
As colleges and universities continue to seek new ways to increase student persistence, retention, and completion, the College Board offers two unique programs in support of those goals. ACCUPLACER® continues its tradition of excellence and innovation with the launch of the ACCUPLACER iPhone app in November. In addition, with the launch of ACCUPLACER®//MyFoundationsLab® on January 2, 2012, ACCUPLACER has expanded its vision for diagnostics, online intervention and customized placement. ACCUPLACER//MyFoundationsLab is a solution to enhance college preparedness and student success.
The CLEP program is excited to share the latest research showcasing CLEP's impact on college success and completion, as well as details on how the program helps students and families save money, time and achieve educational goals. Additionally, CLEP has recently released a newly-redesigned website, refreshed marketing materials, and enhanced reporting for colleges and universities, all with the goal of increasing CLEP participation on your campus.

70% of CLEP test-takers said their CLEP credits made a difference in their ability to finance tuition and other fees.
91% of CLEP test-takers said CLEP made a difference in helping them complete their degrees.
92% of institutions offer PLA credits to provide a time-saving avenue for degree completion.
More than 50% of PLA students earned a degree in seven years, compared to 21% of non-PLA students.
Students who receive credit-by-examination through CLEP for an introductory course are much more likely to earn an A or B in subsequent courses than students who complete the introductory course.
